Rod Dixon is a former New Zealand middle- to long-distance runner. He won the bronze medal in the 1500 metres at the 1972 Olympics in Munich. In 1983 Dixon won the New York City Marathon in dramatic fashion, coming from behind to overtake race leader Geoff Smith of Great Britain in the 26th mile. Dixon is the founder and CEO of Rod Dixon’s KiDSMARATHON Foundation, which has a mission to encourage all kids to be active and to make healthy choices in their daily life.
Eamonn Coghlan is a former track and field athlete from Dublin, Ireland, who specialized in middle distance track events and the 5,000 metres. He is a 3-time Olympian and former world champion in the 5,000 m. He served as Senator from 2011 to 2016.
Bill Rodgers, nicknamed Boston Billy, is an American runner, Olympian and former American record holder in the marathon. Rodgers is best known for his four victories in both the Boston Marathon, including three straight 1978-1980 and the New York City Marathon between 1976 and 1980. Bill twice broke the American marathon record at Boston.
Michael Cusick represents the New York State Assembly's District 63, in Staten Island, New York. He ihas served in the Assembly since 2003. Mike graduated from Monsignor Farrell High School where he was on the cross-country and long distance track teams, and from Villanova University.
Dr. Jordan Metzl, renowned sports medicine physician, best selling author, 31 time marathon runner and 12 time Ironman triathlete, created and leads Ironstrength New York City. Ironstrenth NYC teaches athletes of all ages how to build strength and reduce the aches and pains of every life in the process.
John Honerkamp has coached runners of all ages and abilities for over 20 years. A graduate of St. John’s, Honerkamp was an eight-time All-Big East and six-time All-East (IC4A) athlete while running for the Red Storm. He is co-founder of November Project-NYC, and founded The Run Collective and Off The Hook Track Club.
